This blend is carefully formulated to supplement your bird’s diet with components that provide a wide array of nutrients like calcium and much more. This was tested on a variety of Psittacine chicks with fantastic results including better weight maintenance, improved skin and feather quality, and lower incidence of common chick maladies like Candida infections. This can also be used to help support digestion in adult birds as well.
This food was developed to help improve the nutritional deficiencies often seen in birds fed commercial formula diets. While packages may display attractive phrases such as “healthy,” “packed with vitamins,” or “nutritious,” what truly matters is whether the bird can properly digest the food and absorb it as usable nutrients. In other words, what’s important is whether the food can actually be converted into healthy skin, feathers, and muscles.

Product Overview
Parrot Species
It is recommended for use with finch chicks as well as small, medium, and large parrot chicks.
It can also be used to support digestion in adult and senior birds.
Not recommended for iron sensitive species like lories and lorikeets.
As you can see from the ingredients, this is not a food meant only for chicks. It is a whole food that can also be given to adult and senior birds. For birds other than chicks, we recommend using it as a supplement powder by sprinkling it over their regular meals.
Feeding Instructions
Each bag comes with 1 scoop. 1 scoop can be added to each 1/2 cup of handfeeding formula or 1/2 cup of moist foods like soaked and sprouted items, chop, etc. Keep refrigerated in sealed bag between uses.
This product can also be combined and fed together with other Biodiversity Bird Blends products.

Best-By Date／Storage Instructions
Best Before: Approximately 1 year from delivery (exact date not yet confirmed as the product has not been ordered for release).
Once opened, keep refrigerated. As the powder easily absorbs moisture after opening, be sure to close the zipper tightly or transfer it to a sealed container for storage.

Insects associated with produce or herbs (i.e., whole foods) are a natural source of animal protein and are generally not harmful to birds; however, please remove them if you prefer. Returns or exchanges cannot be accepted for issues related to incidental insects.
